One-Solution Cyanotype – 50 ml

The one-solution cyanotype by Alternative Photographic Supplies is a modern alternative to the classic cyanotype process developed by Herschel. This advanced single-component formula has been designed to offer greater ease of use while improving overall image control and quality.

Unlike traditional cyanotype, it does not require mixing two separate solutions before use, significantly simplifying the preparation of light-sensitive materials. At the same time, it offers higher light sensitivity to UV exposure and noticeably improved tonal rendering, allowing for more subtle transitions between blues, greys, and whites.

As with standard cyanotype, it allows for image toning, providing additional creative possibilities in the final print. However, it is more demanding in terms of paper choice—requiring carefully selected substrates—which results in exceptionally clean and detailed prints.
