5 cm Foam Roller for Gum Bichromate Printing

A foam roller with a handle and replaceable roller head, designed for the even application of emulsion in gum bichromate printing. It helps create a thin, uniform coating across the surface of the paper, making it easier to prepare the sheet correctly for exposure.

In our own practice, foam rollers perform considerably better than many tools designed for general artists’ use. The structure of the foam allows the emulsion to be spread evenly across the paper while reducing unwanted marks during coating.

Replaceable Roller Head

The roller consists of a durable handle and a replaceable foam roller head. Only the working part needs to be replaced when worn, so there is no need to replace the entire tool.

This is particularly useful for regular gum bichromate printing, where the roller frequently comes into contact with pigment-containing emulsions.

Applications
