High-quality collodion with a 4% pyroxylin concentration, manufactured by PENTA, for use in historical and alternative photographic processes.

Collodion is one of the essential materials used in the wet plate collodion process, including the creation of ambrotypes and glass collodion negatives. It can also be used for preparing collodion emulsions and in certain historical photographic varnish formulas.

The 4% pyroxylin concentration makes it a suitable base for preparing collodion solutions according to your preferred wet plate formula.

Collodion is currently a product with limited market availability. Penta collodion is not presently available through regular wholesale channels, while alternative laboratory-grade products, including Sigma-Aldrich collodion, are considerably more expensive.

Due to changing raw material availability and significant price fluctuations, collodion is currently available only on request, subject to prior confirmation of availability and current price.
